3 Chamberlain's Leather Milk Leather Care Liniment No. 1 Review

I recently was given the opportunity to review the Chamberlain's Leather Milk Leather Care Liniment No. 1 for free in exchange for my 100% honest and unbiased opinion on their product.

I have tried so many leather cleaners out there on my couch only to realize that they really only clean the surface of the couch and not really deep down plus I felt like they left some type of film on my couch. So when I recently was sent a bottle of  Chamberlain's Leather Milk I figured what the heck I have tried everything else lets give this a shot and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleaned but not just cleaned I saw the difference on how well my couch looked clean and felt better too.

With the Chamberlain's Leather Milk I really could tell how well it actually looked like it helped bring my couch back to life. I have tried other liquids, sprays and wipes only to realize it left some type of sticky film on my couch or in a couple of days my furniture looked like crap.

In these pictures below the first one on the top left is still dirty and the top right one is after I used the Chamberlain's Leather Milk. The bottom photo's are of the pad after cleaning the couch cushion.

So if you really want to clean and protect your leather furniture you really really need to a get a bottle of Chamberlains Leather Milk.

Leather Care Liniment No. 1 is a milky, water-based natural leather care recipe containing some remarkable leather enriching ingredients. This product contains oils that can be described as ‘lighter’ rather than ‘heavier’ oil types; and, because the product is water-based, it also works as a mild cleaner.  In practical terms what this means is that for leather items that benefit from being ‘refreshed’ frequently, without having to worry about overloading your leather with oils and conditioners…Leather Care Liniment is the perfect solution!  For instance, leather coats, bags, auto interiors, and furniture…these are the kinds of things that are exposed to public scrutiny and human touch on a regular basis.  You can use Leather Care Liniment often, for a quick, effective, cleaning and revitalizing result.

Just as milk is a primary nutrient for so much of animal and human life, so Chamberlain’s Leather Milk is for all things leather.  Those who buy our products tend to be people who own quality leather items (leather furniture, luxurious auto interiors, leather briefcases, purses, and luggage); and, they tend to be people who know how to take care of their good stuff.  This is how it is with quality leather goods: the leather needs to be cared for in a particular way and in regular fashion for it to look its best and last for years to come.  Chamberlain’s Leather Milk was created for just this purpose!  Made from natural, leather-nutrient-rich ingredients; concocted from natural oils and conditioners, plus a few highly classified mystical properties…Chamberlain’s Leather Milk will feed, strengthen, and beautify your leather goods.  Try it on your leather coat and matching gloves, or your motorcycle gear…we even have something for your hunting boots!  Start Milking your leather today!

Dressing For Your Workplace

Work It at Work In a Professional Way: Looks For the Office You Can Rock

If you work in an office setting, you’ll want to keep in mind that looking professional is a big part of the job—most of the time. Staying open to the idea of new wardrobe styles is a great way to expand your clothing horizons. Even if you aren’t the greatest at picking out what looks best for you and your body, let it be known that you can teach yourself these things and learn how to work it at work… and keep your job.

When you go shopping for your work clothes, try to remember what the latest trends are within the careerwardrobe world. The trick is to create a style that’s unique to you while still staying fresh and up to date with your look and not being too risqué. Current fashion trends include graphic and vivid prints, black and white color block, and for both men and women, the color pink. The appealing thing about fashion is that not only does it change quite frequently, but it also tends to repeat itself over the years. Styles that were trendy back in the 1990s and early 2000s are coming back in full swing nowadays, so if you happened to hang onto some items from this fashion epoch, you may well have something phenomenal for the office on your hands.

Personal shopper at Neiman Marcus, Chris Lynam, well understands the difficulty many people have when choosing styles of outfits that work for them in the office, on the sales floor, or on the road for business trips. The problem is that too many people mix together too many different trends in one outfit, and it turns out looking sloppy or and poorly planned out. The key here is to stick to one specific fashion trend for each workday. If you’re planning on rocking some outrageous socks with a rolled hem, be sure to keep the rest of the fabrics neutral and simple. Another look that works for many varying body types is a one-piece dress that features an elegant and colorful graphic design. These types of dresses can be quite attractive to those admiring while also being great your workplace confidence.

Another beautiful and simple office outfit option—especially right now—is the black and white combo package. What is color blocking? If you don’t know, this is the practice of featuring colors in “blocks” or chunks as a design on fabrics. Surprisingly, this particular fashion trend is extremely flattering on many different body types and is also a go-to option for days off as well. Go try on a dress or skirt with black and white color blocking and see if it works for you—you’ll know right away if it feels like a match for your personal taste.

We don’t all have the option to appear on the TV series “What Not to Wear,” but we can inform ourselves of the different workplace clothing options on our own. All it takes is a little research and perhaps chatting with one of the people who work in the fitting room of the store you’re checking out. Don’t be afraid to engage with these wardrobe pros and ask them what they think about various outfits you might be trying on. Rock your new found confidence at work with a brand new fashionable addition to your wardrobe this summer!

Knowing What You Need For A Proper Workout

What equipment do you need before working out?

Are you interested in starting to get in shape? Before you begin working out, you need to make sure that you have the right equipment. Preparing for a workout instead of simply jumping into a new exercise routine might seem like a lot of work, but the truth is that preparing yourself mentally and physically can make a huge difference in your success. The more prepared that you are, the better off you're going to be. Not only will you be more likely to continue with your workout plan, but you'll also be less likely to get injured while exercising.

First off, consider getting a heart rate monitor. You can view these at HeartRateMonitors.com. The right heart rate monitor will help ensure that you don't allow your heart rate to rise too dramatically during your workout. While it's important to get your heart rate to a specific level during your workout, you also don't want to let it get too high. Always use a heart rate monitor when you're exercising. Whether you plan to go for a jog or do a simple cardio workout, a monitor is an essential part of any good exercise regime.

It's also important to pick out a good, sturdy pair of shoes. Think you can get by with your tennis shoes from high school? Think again. You should ideally replace your exercise shoes every six months. If you work out incredibly hard on a regular basis, you may need to replace them more often. Your shoes not only support your feet, but your knees and back, as well. When you're ready to start a new workout program, always get a decent pair of shoes. You can visit any sporting goods store to buy shoes or shop online for a wider selection. Make sure that you try the shoes on before your workout, though, to make sure that they fit.

Finally, always make sure that you purchase a water bottle to take with you when you're working out. Proper hydration is an essential part of exercising. Drinking plenty of fluids will prevent you from becoming dehydrated. It will also help keep your energy levels up when you're exercising. If you purchase a water bottle, you'll be more likely to keep hydrated during your workouts than if you depend on drinking water from a water fountain or glass before you hit the gym.

What Do Your Sneaker's Say About You?

What Your Tennis Shoes say about You

Tennis shoes moved into the mainstream decades ago, and they’re still one of the top choices in footwear. Walk into any shoe store in the nation and you’ll find a range of tennis shoes to choose from, but what are your sneakers saying about you? Knowing what messages your shoes are saying will help you choose the right pair for almost anything.

Tourist or Local

Overseas travelers appreciate the importance of dressing like the locals. Wearing a brand of shoes that’s only available in another country is sure to mark you as a tourist, and that’s a disadvantage when you’re trying to negotiate prices at the local market. It you’re heading to a new area, try to pick up footwear that’s consistent with what the locals wear.

Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness

Shoes are on the ground all the time and are going to get dirty, but wearing filthy shoes sends the wrong message. When your shoes are clean and tidy, people assume that you’re just as clean and tidy in your other personal habits. If your shoes have become so filthy that cleaning them just isn’t an option, then you might want to treat yourself to a new pair.

Leaders and their Followers

When you slip on a pair of shoes that all of your friends have, you subconsciously send the message that you’re a follower. There’s nothing wrong with following the crowd on certain things, but you may prefer to send the message that you’re a leader. To do so, choose a unique pair of shoes that you won’t find in your local gym or the halls of your school. You may need to shop at a place like Sneaker Kings to find unique shoes that your friends don’t have, but you’ll send the clear image that you’re a leader. You also may start a new trend yourself.

Style Always Matters

Whether you follow the trends or want to set them yourself, style always matters. People don’t care about the cost of quality of a shoe if it’s an ugly addition to your wardrobe. When shopping for new shoes, always look at the style and colors to be sure that they match your personality and are a worthy addition to your wardrobe.

You cannot go wrong with sneakers, but you should be careful about the messages that your sneakers are sending. Invest in the right pair to create the right message. When they start to become uncomfortable or are too dirty to see the designs, then it’s time for a new pair.

How Different Beverages Affect Your Mouth

How Different Beverages Affect the Health of Your Mouth

Everyone knows that some food and drink choices are healthier than others, but did you know that some drinks can cause mineral loss in your tooth enamel while others can help to strengthen enamel? It is important to know what kinds of affects different beverages have on your teeth, especially if you want to avoid tooth decay and the costs that come along with treating it. Additionally, a link has been found between oral health and overall health, so it is important to make sure you keep your pearly whites strong and do everything you can to avoid compromising the health of your teeth. If you are a big fan of sugary sodas, sports drinks, or even bottled water, here are a few things you should know about the affects they can have on your teeth.

Sodas

Sodas have developed a very bad reputation due to their high amount of calories and their contribution to obesity. However, we don’t often talk about how bad soft drinks are for dental health. Because they are made with very high levels of sugar and acid, these sweet drinks contribute to tooth decay and loss of tooth enamel. Over time, excessive consumption of soft drinks can contribute to the excessive growth of bacteria in the mouth and can lead to the development of cavities.

Sports Drinks

Sports drinks are commonly consumed by athletes and regular individuals who exercise regularly. While these drinks perform the important function of restoring electrolyte levels in the body after they have been depleted through sweat, they can also be very harmful to the teeth due to their high acid and sugar content. To avoid damage to the teeth, it is important to limit consumption of sports drinks and hydrate with water instead.

Bottled Water

Bottled water is free from sugar and acid, but some dentists are still concerned about it being used excessively. The reason for this concern is because most bottled water does not contain fluoride, and fluoride has been shown to strengthen teeth, especially in children whose teeth are still developing. If individuals only consume bottled water, they may not receive an adequate amount of fluoride for optimal dental health.

Better Beverage Options

Since it is recommended that you avoid sodas and sports drinks and even excessive amounts of bottled water, what types of beverages should you choose to drink in their place? In the article “The Differences Between Regular, Soy and Almond Milk”, the nutritional values of cow’s milk, soy milk, and almond milk are compared side-by-side. While all three are great choices for dental health due to their calcium content, almond milk has a higher percentage of calcium than cow’s milk or soy milk. This makes it a great alternative for individuals who suffer from lactose intolerance. Fluoride-fortified tap water is also a wise beverage choice for individuals who are concerned about keeping their teeth strong and healthy.

Moderation

For some people, staying completely away from sugary drinks is simply not a realistic option and is not conducive with their lifestyle. However, oral health may still be maintained by restricting the consumption of these types of drinks and choosing healthier beverage options whenever possible.
