I recently was given the opportunity to review the KONA KASE Box for free in exchange for my 100% honest and unbiased opinion on their product.
I have a new monthly subscription box to tell you all about. This one is perfect for those who are just starting to work out, have been working out or just want protein based healthy snacks.
I had just recently started walking 3 miles with a couple of ladies in my neighbor hood. Some days I just felt blah other days I just really did not feel like going but I ended up going anyways. After receiving the Kona Kase and trying a couple of the items inside the box I noticed that I was feeling more apt to do things during the day and also not that hungry either. What I really loved about the box is that of the items that I tried I did not really feel like I had been eating healthy, protein and energy bursting products at all.
Information about Kona Kase and the company:

John has done triathlons and several bike centuries. He biked 3,500 miles from Oregon to Connecticut in 2009 with three dirtbag friends. Unlike Taylor, he seeks opportunities to wear spandex at inopportune moments. He gets into the woods often to mountain bike with his dog, Chloe.

WHO ARE YOU GUYS?
Taylor has run several marathons and relays. He feels uncomfortable in spandex and looks awkward using a foam roller. He enjoys Dolphin Club swims in the San Francisco Bay and experimenting with new kinds of endurance nutrition.WHY DID WE START KONA KASE?
It’s May 2012. We were running the Relay (200 team relay from Calistoga, CA to Santa Cruz, CA) and found ourselves sitting in the back of an Econoline van eating tortilla chips and slices of provolone cheese to fuel up before the race. We were tired of eating the same old boring energy bars, but finding similarly healthy alternatives wasn’t easy.
Everyone on our team was talking about these great but relatively small or unknown brands they had heard of but couldn’t find. We knew there had to be a better way to discover awesome nutritional products than scouring local health shops or fitness websites or reading tons of product reviews and nutritional labels trying to separate the good from the bad.
We wanted to create a platform where runners, cyclists, swimmers, and yoga/Crossfit aficionados could sample different brands from around the country to find what works best for them. And so, Kona Kase was born.

I love Krave Beef Jerky and Quest bars aren't bad at all. I have never heard of the other stuff though, but the Larabar Banana Bread sounds yummy. This looks like an awesome box to receive. Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great box!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great as a reminder to work out and stay healthy. Even if you fall off the wagon there would be another box of goodies reminding you that you can do it and giving you some help! Great review!
