HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH - The Secret to Happiness Review

I love books that teaches kids about life lessons and that they actually learn from it. This book that I am talking about is called HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH - THE SECRET TO HAPPINESS. Here is a little bit about the book, it is a childrens book that teaches them about sharing, character, life lessons, and things about taking care of their world. The book is so well written and illustrated too.

Here is a little bit about the author Suzy Liebermann,
A native of Germany and former resident of the Dominican Republic, Mexico, the Islands of the Bahamas and Switzerland, Suzy Liebermann—now living in the USA—has travelled the world in pursuit of language, art, and culture.
Having found it, she now shares it with the world’s teachers, parents, and children through educational literature. Leveraging her decades of global experience teaching in German, Spanish, French, and English with a degree in foreign language translation and a master’s degree in business management and international business, she launched Happy Language Kids Publications in 2010 as an interactive language learning program for children and their young-at-heart elders. This program is particularly aligned with the aims and values she upheld as a teacher of cultural art and foreign language at a prestigious International Baccalaureate World School.

So after my little girl who is 8 read this book I asked her about it. She told me that she like the book and that it was fun to read. Then I asked her what did you like about? My daughter said to me at first the book was sad mom because HUGO was always sad and did not know why but he then decided to go on a adventure to find what he was missing, somethings made him feel ok but not happy yet. Then finally he realized sharing made him happy and his heart was happy too. So I asked her what did you learn from it? She said that he learned stuff about himself and how not to be so selfish. She also told me that sharing not only makes the other person happy but you will feel good about yourself too. So I just had to ask her is that not what mommy has been teaching you too, Little Brat that she is said maybe you have but reading about a startfish and what he went through is much more fun way to learn. SORRY MOM SHE SAYS.

All in all I am so glad that she could learn the lesson and had fun reading the book and enjoyed it. Especially since we could use this for her homeschooling lessons too.  HUGO has so many other books to, if you would like to check them out you can do so by clicking HERE. You can also purchase one of HUGO's many books by visiting http://www.mystarfish.org/happy-hugos-store or Amazon. These books are a really good starting point for 3 years up to 12. After my daughter finished reading the book I found her on their website playing some of their games. You know the book has to be good if your child ends up on the internet looking them up.

Thanks Suzy Lierbermann for writing a book that my daughter actually like and learned from.
If you want like to know more about the book you can follow them at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hugo-the-Happy-Starfish or Info@MyStarfish.org. Just another little note too the book also is available in 7 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, hardback, pc download or tablet too.
