Hacking Chinese: The Complete Guide to HSK I Review

I recently was given the opportunity to review the Hacking Chinese program from Hocmaa Publishing for free in exchange for my 100% honest and unbiased opinion on their product.

My daughter has been wanting to learn Chinese for the longest time because she is half Chinese. I have always told my husband to talk to her Chinese since she was born but that never happened and where we live we really do not have any Chinese tutor's so for the last couple of months I have been researching ways that she could learn.

I had began to think that there was no way this was going to happen because it was either drive her a hour in a half to a tutor 3 times a week or save up for months and purchase a program off the internet. Well now that has all changed because of this wonderful book from Hocmaa Publishing called Hacking Chinese: The Complete Guide To HSK 1 by Eva DOVC. 

When my daughter first starting reading the book she told me mom I dont think I am gonna learn anything without someone teaching me, boy was she wrong my daughter has been reading the book for about 3 weeks now and I am amazed to see what she has learned and what she can do now. Even her Dad does not know how to write in Chinese and my daughter knows a few characters now. I am beyond happy with this book. 

My daughter has actually had fun learning with the Hacking Chinese book.

Biography

Eva is a teacher and translator living in London, UK.
She has studied Chinese for more than 10 years and has lived in China for more than 5 years, during which she has carried out numerous experiments on her willing (yet unaware) students. She has developed her own teaching methodology, which she now preaches in her online course: 12-week Chinese Language Boot camp.
