Surprise Ride Review + Giveaway

I recently was given the opportunity to review Surprise Ride Subscription Service for free in exchange for my 100% honest and unbiased opinion on their product.

I love it when my kids are excited about receiving packages in the mail especially a box like this. A couple of weeks ago I received a package in the mail from a company called Surprise Ride and when I first heard about it I thought it had something to do with a bicycle or something with wheels on it.

To my surprise it does not have to do with anything like that at all what Surprise Ride is a monthly subscription box for kids that sends kids ages 6-11 fun and educational hands-on activities that foster creativity and imagination!  The company was started by two sisters Donna and Rosy, and they have been working hard to create a lasting impact on the lives of children, beyond the latest toys or technologies.

When I opened up the box with my youngest daughter she was so excited to see all the goodies inside the box and wanted to start playing with everything inside but I had to tell her to wait a little bit because I had to take pictures first she was mad at me for making her wait.

She told me right away Mom I really like everything inside this box and it reminds me of my Papa. I asked her why she said that and she said well duh Mom thats because my Papa was 1/2 cherokee. You see Surprise Ride sends monthly boxes of materials to do fun hands-on projects. Boxes cover a surprise theme ranging from art and science to food and geography! This months box is called Pow Wow to teach and learn about the amazing traditions of the American Indians.

Here is what the box contained:
Instructions on how to make the projects along with facts about the subject too
 POP'D KERNS SNACK
Enjoy the most beloved American Indian Food, corn!

 NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN ACTIVITY BOOK
Complete every page and learn something fun!
ANIMAL SLIDE WHISTLE
Slide the whistle head in and out while blowing to call your feathered friends!

 CREATE A TRIBAL DRUM
Drum, Drum skin, Tape Strips, Ribbons and assorted stickers.
 DANCE RATTLE
Create fun songs. Shake, clap against your hand or tap on objects. Doubles as a talking stick.
 WORRY STONE
This little stone holds magical powers.
 DESIGN A DREAM CATCHER
Willow Ring, Beads, Feather and String

When my daughter was reading about what exactly a POW WOW was she thought it was so cool to find out about each different item was for and told me that the first thing she was gonna create is the Tribal Drum so that she could use it to play something for her Papa on the Anniversary of his passing. That brought me to tears.
