Juil Review

I recently was given the opportunity to review Juil for free in exchange for my 100% honest and unbiased opinion on their product.

I was recently given the opportunity to review a pair of shoes from Juil and I am so happy that I had this chance to check out this wonderful company and their product.

If you have never heard of Juil before let me tell a little bit about them and their products. The concept of Juil has been around since 2001 up until they made their first sale on  April 24, 2011. Their shoes not only allow you to feel like you are walking around barefoot  but they also help you feel energized, balanced and most importantly to me comfortable too. What makes the shoes so unique is that they contain Energy Flow Technology which helps restore your body's natural balance of energy by channeling your energies inherent in the earth's surface. They have copper conductors in the soles of each pair of shoes which makes them so special.

When I first had the chance to check out their website I had such a hard time decided which pair to get and the color too.I ended up choosing the style Hera in white Now when I actually received them I thought oh man these copper conductors are gonna bother my feet and be uncomfortable. Well I am here to tell you that neither of those happened. The thong's felt so soft and comfortable on my feet. I will have to say I did feel a little pep in my step after wearing them for a while. I also received this really cute bag with the thongs too. Which is pictured below.

Here are three questions and answers that I found on the Juil website that I thought you would find informative and useful too:

Why do I need to get connected to the earth?

"Free radicals" occur in our bodies when we are exposed to toxins, pesticides, and generally anything that is toxic to our tissue (now-a-days, its more things than not). Over time, free radicals build up in our bodies. In order for them to become stable, the radicals must find an electron to "connect" themselves to. Where are these electrons then? Beyond the sources found in certain foods, vitamins, etc, we have an abundant source of electrons right beneath us in the earth. If we fail to connect ourselves with these sources, radicals attack our healthy tissue to rob the cells of their electrons. The result? A high potential for infection and inflammation, among other ailments.
· Dr. Carol Davis (Professor Emerita – University of Miami Miller School of Medicine)

How will connecting to the earth help me?

Over time, factors such as stress, man-made electromagnetic fields, toxins, infections and poor diets can contribute to chronic inflammation, which is known to contribute to many types of chronic disease. Inflammation and the free radicals it creates can be partially quenched by fruits, vegetables and other nutrients in a healthy diet. But what else can we do to help outselves? Well, it turns out that our earth's surface carries a natural, bountiful source of electrons that our bodies also need. These electrons have a balancing effect on our nervous systems and quench free radicals as well. Essentially, when we connect directly with the earth's surface, electrons rising from its soil or sand will enter our bodies and turn the "negatives" we build up day-to-day into "positives."
· Dr. Daniel Chong (Naturopathic Doctor); Dr. Chong's Website http://www.drdanielchong.com/

How does Juil help me make this connection?

Traditional footwear, made with rubber or plastic outsoles may serve a comfort need for us, but it certainly doesn't help us connect with the earth. On the contrary, it blocks the necessary flow of electrons into our body and prevents us from heeding the earth's natural resource. By placing Energy Flow Technology™ (compound copper conductors) directly through the footbed and outsole of the sandals, Juil offers a direct conduit between our bodies and the earth's surface. You are able to go about your day, in comfort, while heeding the earth's reviving electrons necessary to sustain healthy, stable lives.

Another great thing that I found out about Juil is that when you purchase a pair they donate a pair. In 2012, Juil partnered with Soles4Souls. For each pair of Juil footwear purchased, a pair of shoes is donated to a person in need in a developing country. We continue to support various international and local causes that are important to Juil and to our customers.
Juil offers so many other styles to not only for women but men too. The styles they have are called Brio, Copenhagen, Holland, Mesa, Napa, Bali, Vista, Gaia (vegan) and Mojanda. The prices of Juil shoes range from $85 - $135. I know some of you might think that is a little high but for what they do and how comfortable they are I think they are worth every last penny. I cant wait to purchase another pair in a different color.
One thing I would suggest when you purchase a pair I would get a size bigger then what you would normally wear.

Also here is some informational cards that I received with my shoes:
