Goodies Co Box Review

I recently was given the opportunity to review the Goodies Box by The Goodies Co  for free in exchange for my 100% honest and unbiased opinion on their product.

If you have never heard of the Goodies Box before let me tell a little about them. The Goodies Co offers a monthly subscription box of healthy snacks for $7.00 a month including taxes and shipping. Goodies Co. is a Walmart brand and not a separate company. Goodies Co. was developed by @WalmartLabs, a tech innovation division that operates within Walmart's Global eCommerce group.

I received six different items in my April Box.

by Bakery on Main

First is a uniquely flavored health bar features puffed rice studded with sweet-tart dried apricots, crunchy almonds and Chai-inspired cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. Created in the small bakery of a natural foods store, it’s healthy, exotic and gluten-free. (borrowed from website).
I do have to honest with all about this bar I could not bring myself to eat it since I do not like apricots at all.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar
 by Abbott Nutrition

Second item that I got reminds me of eating the cookie dough before you bake it although it was a little gritty to me, that could be because it melted in the box during shipping. The bar has 10grams of protein and 18 vitamins/minerals. This is something I would think about buying in the store might be better if not melted.

Raspberry Acai Green Tea
by Celsius Drink

Third item is a Celsius Energy drink. I was pleasently surprised how good this tasted and also that it did not make me feel jittery like some other drinks have made me feel. I love having a drink like this that can help us busy people burn more calories. Celsius has no sugar, no aspartame, very low sodium, no artificial preservatives, no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial colors or flavors. It helps burn a 100 calories or more plus energy too.

Sweet & Salty Kettlecorn
by Angie's Popcorn

Fourth item is the Sweet & Salty Kettlecorn. My daughter is usually very picky about what she will eat so to know that I this is a healthy snack for her to eat and she likes is such a bonus. After she finished the bag she came back up to me and asked for more. I love the fact that I can buy this at my local Walmart for her and do not have to purchase it online only.
Ingredients are simple: Popcorn, Sunflower Oil, Evaporated Cane Juice and Sea Salt. The popcorn is also naturally simple, cholesterol free, whole grain, no high-fructose corn syrup, vegan, no trans fat, kosher and certified gluten free.

 Sweet Potato Multigrain Chips
by Green Giant

Fifth item my husband had the Sweet Potato Chips and loved them. I dont like sweet potato so I did not try them. He wants me to buy more the next time I go to Walmart. My husband told me that he was surprised that they were not that salty, the only thing that made him upset was the fact that he did not have more to eat. Crisp multigrain chips sweetened by real sweet potato and a savory sprinkling of sea salt.

                                                                    by Olomomo Nuts

Sixth item is the Chai Bliss Almonds. I am not a big fan of Chai so I had my husband try these and he told me that it tasted like ginger to him. I dont think this is a product that I will end up buy anytime soon for my household.  Low Cholesterol, Natural, Vegan and Gluten Free.

The one thing that I was super excited to find in the box was a wine gift card to NakedWines.com. The giftcard offered $50 off your next order. I had so much fun visiting them and seeing all the different wines available.
