When I Fall in Love Book Review

OK so I am not a avid book reader at all, but I have to tell you when I read this book I could not stop reading it. The book is called When I Fall in Love by Clint Morey.

The first night I sat down to start reading the book I got to Chapter 7 and then realized oh crap its 3 o'clock in the morning I need to go to bed. I guess I really got involved in the book and forgot about time. It has been a long time since I have done something like that at all.

The next day when I got up I wanted to continue to read again but I had house chores to do, home-school to do with my daughter and errands. I finally got to read some more after dinner. When I finally did finish the book I was sad that it was over I truly loved the book. For me the book was interesting, engaging and funny too. During some parts of reading I actually found myself tearing up too.

I will have to say that this is a good book for teens, young adults and adults alike too.

Here is a little information about the book itself:
It must be nice to have the perfect plan for your life.

Amy Prescott is just your ordinary, everyday high school senior — beautiful, brilliant, athletic, able to pick the hunk of her choice, and a scholarship to Harvard nearly in her hands.

Okay, maybe not so ordinary.

She has her life planned out and it’s an exciting, adventurous plan.  She can hardly wait for the next step.
But when she’s forced to care for her grandparents in Montana during Christmas break, Amy finds her orchestrated world is about to snap.   She’s stuck with a cantankerous grandfather who doesn’t want her help, but needs it because of a stroke, a grandmother who is the sweetest thing ever, but suffers from Alzheimer’s, and family members out to protect “their share” of the estate.
Grandpa, a master cello maker who can no longer do his craft, reluctantly shares with Amy the story of his great adventure – how he met and won the heart of his wife in Vietnam.
But Amy has more immediate concerns.  Is her boyfriend dating someone else when she’s not around?  How can she fend off the Montana boy who has taken an interest in her?  And then there’s that Harvard thing.

Amy doesn’t need any of this.
Not now.  Her life is planned.  It’s a perfect plan.

At least it was.

Born and raised in L.A., it didn't take much to convince my wife and I to leave the smog, traffic and dead bolts of Southern California and head for a new life in The Big Sky Country -- Montana.
We were a little concerned when we first arrived in Billings and saw a pickup with a rifle in the back window and a bumper sticker that read ...
Keep Montana Beautiful
Shoot an Out-of-Stater

Fortunately we haven't had to use our finely honed bullet-dodging skills. Instead we found Montana to be filled with great people and awesome scenery.
Montana has been and continues to be a great adventure for us. God has blessed us in many ways -- six beautiful children and many wonderful friends. It's also a great place to be a writer.
But I don't recommend it for anyone else. Stay where you are in your concrete jungles. Suck in that air that you can see before you breathe it. Buy deadbolts for your doors. Maybe even pick up a guard dog.
Remember, if you come up here, I know a guy in Billings ...

If you would like to read the book for yourself it is available in hardback $9.99, on your computer or downloadable for your kindle $2.99. You can purchase any of this formats by visiting AMAZON.

Even though I was given the opportunity to read this book by Clint Morey my opinions are honest and are in no way influenced by the fact that I received a free copy of When I Fall in Love.
